As a final project for my embellishments class, I draped and constructed a silk corset, flatted to canvas for stability, with bodice boning and a fully lined interior. The beading is done on organza. The “cloud eyelid” is metallic stretch fabric pulled over layers of wool felt. The beading and cloud are both surrounded by metallic embroidery thread, and finished with fringe gems.
